Conservator (maternity cover)

The Conservator is responsible for the conservation of the collection and works under the care of the Centre. The post holder will manage the well-equipped conservation studio and be capable of working independently. They will line manage the Conservation Technician, liaise and work closely with colleagues such as technicians, registrars and curators. The Conservator will provide conservation expertise to all aspects of displays and exhibitions including the campus Sculpture Park. They will deliver Preventive Conservation strategies across the collection and exhibitions programmes. The Conservator will provide specialist conservation advice and advocacy on behalf of the Centre both internally and the wider external networks.
