Job Summary

Crossroads Live are seeking a Company Manager for the UK and Ireland touring production of Waitress. Touring from March 2026 to January 2027.

Job Description

The Company Manager is employed as a representative of the producing management. The interests of the company members, whilst being of great importance, should never supersede those of the producing management.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Petty cash and timesheets are to be completed weekly.
  2. To complete and distribute box office returns daily.
  3. To check Show Reports and ensure they are distributed each night directly following the performance.
  4. To check hours and sign time sheets for local staff and send copies to the Accounts department.
  5. To complete the accident book and send copies of incidents to the General Manager promptly.
  6. To have knowledge of the Equity Rule Book: deductions for absences, allowable overtime, possible additional cost and to complete the weekly payroll
  7. To coordinate press/publicity activities in conjunction with PR company or Promotions Manager.
  8. To check seats on sale against GP’s and check seats taken up for seat kills.
  9. To ensure that an advance payment has been organised either by BACS direct to the Producers account or that a cheque made out to the correct payee will be furnished.
  10. To book any company tickets and all producers tickets.
  11. To ensure they have up to date information of all local knowledge including doctors, physios, A&E etc.
  12. To look after the Company’s well being.
  13. To notify the General Manager of any specific problems that occur within the Company.
  14. To be responsible for the discipline of the Company and to conduct probation interviews/meetings for all crew.
  15. To book all physiotherapy sessions.
  16. Orders for supplies, equipment etc
  17. Attend production meetings, rehearsals, calls and performances.
  18. Adhere to the Health and Safety guidelines of the Company
  19. To ensure all Company know the performing schedule and confirm to all departments who is on and off exactly.
  20. Any other duties may be reasonably required in the course of your duties or as instructed by the Producers from time to time.
