Freelance £64 per session Time: around 6 hours per week Availability: Wednesday’s (including 7pm fortnightly online)

Role accountabilities

We’re excited to offer an opportunity to join our team as a Community Musician in the Buckinghamshire area. Accountabilities include:

  • Delivering group community music services in care homes, community settings and online.
  • Managing onsite relationships with relevant staff members in settings
  • Working flexibly with services and clients to meet their needs
  • Work with and support session volunteers
  • Liaise with clients, referrers, carers and family members
  • Complete weekly registers and session logs
  • Take payment for sessions and log this.

Person specification

  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Confident and self-motivated
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • A high level of vocal and keyboard skills and confidence in using percussion instruments
  • Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • A full driving licence with access to a vehicle is required
