Community Engagement Co-ordinator (Corby)

The Community Engagement Coordinators (CEC) will work within a small team on the development and delivery of the Creative People and Places (CPP) programme for Corby and/or Wellingborough. Each CEC role is place-based and will work with an assigned town. We are currently recruiting for the Corby CEC role. The programme includes a range of activities, events, performances, exhibitions, artist residencies and festivals, through a model of community-led commissioning, programming and co-creation.

The Community Engagement Coordinator (CEC) will work with the wider staff team, and associated artists, freelance staff and community groups, on a range of projects across Corby/Wellingborough. They will lead on engagement with the local community, especially those who are least likely to engage with creative and cultural activities. The CEC will also assist the Producer and Programme Co-Directors to develop and deliver the activity programme, with the support of other key staff including marketing, admin, consortium, volunteers and community partners.

We will require the successful candidate to apply for a DBS check, undertake safeguarding and relevant health and safety training as well as adhering to GDPR regulations.

Salary: £25, 487.35 FTE (£12,573.76 per annum)

Contract length: Fixed term to March 2029

Accountable to: Producer

Hours: 18.5 hours per week including evenings and weekends when required.

Location: Corby, with some potential for home-working. There is an expectation that the role will be mainly based out in the community.
