Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Community Engagement Assistant (Part-Time/Maternity Cover) with some experience of working with communities and young people through theatre.

Job Description

The Community Engagement Assistant (Part-Time/Maternity Cover) will work closely with the Creative Engagement Manager to deliver Icon’s youth theatre, youth work and community programmes across Medway and Sheppey. The role combines direct creative delivery with young people and communities, alongside project coordination, administration and safeguarding responsibilities.

Key Information

  • Salary: £26,390 per annum (FTE), pro rata, £15,834 per annum for 3 days per week (21 hours, 3 days per week)
  • Fixed-Term Contract: April 2026 – March 2027
  • Location: Medway (Easy Access from London via train/car)
