Mae’r comisiwn artist hwn yn gofyn am ymchwil a dylunio cysyniad i ddatblygu cyfres o ymyriadau testun, cerfluniol a chwareus sy’n cysylltu Heol y Cilgant Heol Caerdydd, yn rhan o raglen gwelliannau i’r amgylchedd ehangach. Mae’r prosiect yn rhan o fframwaith adfywio ehangach, sef Cynllun Creu Lleoedd Tref Caerffili 2035. Un elfen allweddol o’r cynllun hwn yw gwella’r gwaith o adrodd stori’r gorffennol a’r presennol, eu cefnogi a’u gwneud yn weladwy o fewn y treflun, er mwyn atynnu ymwelwyr a thrigolion lleol i ymweld a chrwydro canol y dref.

Crescent Road to Cardiff Road Improvements, Caerphilly
This artist commission is for a research and concept design to develop a series of text, sculptural and playable interventions that link Crescent Road to Cardiff Road as part of a wider environmental improvement programme. The project sits within a wider regeneration framework, Caerphilly Town2035 Place making plan. A key aspect of this plan is to enhance and support storytelling, making visible past and current narratives within the townscape so as to encourage visitors and residents to explore the town centre.
This opportunity is particularly well-suited to artists, cultural researchers, makers, or designer-makers based in Wales who have experience working in the public realm.

Job Requirements
Budget
There is a total provisional budget of £49,000 ex VAT and inclusive of artist fees and materials allocated for the commission including all design, fabrication, communication and partnership work, travel and expenses. The artist daily rate is allocated at £325 per day. The artwork may be procured through the artist or client depending on the design requirements and artist capacity.

Cyfanswm y gyllideb dros dro yw £49,000 heb TAW. Mae hon yn cynnwys ffioedd a deunyddiau’r artist a neilltuwyd ar gyfer y comisiwn ac yn cynnwys yr holl waith dylunio, cynhyrchu, cyfathrebu a gwaith partneriaeth, teithio a threuliau. Bydd yr artist yn derbyn t l o £325 y dydd. Yr artist neu’r cleient bydd ynyn caffael y gwaith celf, mae’n dibynnu ar ofynion y dyluniad a chapasiti’r artist.
