Art UK

Job Summary

Are you passionate about bringing art to everyone? Do you believe in the power of digital to engage people with the arts? We’re looking for a Collections Content and Support Manager to join our friendly and dedicated team.

Job Description

As the Collections Content and Support Manager, you will take responsibility for developing processes that allow us to support collections that have launched on the Bloomberg Connects app. The Bloomberg Connects app aims to help improve visitor experience when visiting museums and other collections around the country. Guides on the app provide the on-site ability to learn about current exhibitions at a portfolio of participating cultural partners. Features include bespoke content, expert commentary, video highlights and way-finding maps.

You will set targets, identify opportunities and challenges, and work closely with collections to ensure that their guide content is up to date. You will identify key marketing opportunities and liaise with Bloomberg around marketing support. You will be responsible for creating video, audio, and written content for both the Art UK website, aligning with the organisation’s wider digital strategy, and the Bloomberg Connects app. You will be supported by the Collections Content and Support Officer and will work closely with a Bloomberg Connects Commissioning Editor.

You will report regularly to stakeholders and will work closely with the Collections Recruitment and Liaison Manager. An effective communicator and ambassador for Art UK, you will ensure collections across the UK are fully supported and can maximise the app’s potential to engage audiences and showcase their artworks.
