About Us
Withington Public Hall Institute CIC (WPHI) is a vibrant, community-led social enterprise located in a historic space in the heart of Withington, South Manchester. As both a community venue and a neighbourhood pub, we’re all about people, pints, pizza – and now, productivity. From October 2025, the venue will be open during the daytime 9am-5pm for co-working, while continuing to operate as a hospitality venue during the evenings and host a diverse range of cultural and social events – including live gigs, comedy, talks, club nights, and more. We also hire out our spaces for meetings, community groups, private parties, training, choir practice and networking events.
Withington Works is a thriving co-working space situated above Withington Baths community run leisure centre and swimming pool. Operating since 2019, Withington Works has now grown to host over 30 regular members and 400 day pass visits per year.
