Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Entertainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for performance and a flair for captivating audiences. This role involves entertaining diverse groups through various forms of artistic expression, including dance, games and co-ordinating. The Entertainer will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences that inspire and engage participants.

Rate of pay: £45ph

Expected weekly hours: 10 hours per week

Job Requirements

  • Full driving licence & car.
  • Proven experience in performing arts, particularly in acting, dance and/or musical theatre.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and connect with diverse audiences.
  • A passion for educating others through performance art.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
  • Flexibility to adapt performances based on audience dynamics and preferences.
  • Previous experience in entertainment roles is advantageous but not essential.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform engaging games and activities for the children
  • Communicate effectively with children and adults, ensuring an interactive and enjoyable experience.
  • Collaborate with other entertainers and team members to develop innovative programmes and events.
  • Adapt performances based on audience feedback and engagement levels.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and conduct during all performances and events.
  • Promote our social media to adults so that they can keep up to date with upcoming events and activities.
