Job Summary
Crossroads Live are seeking a Chaperone for 3 weeks on the UK and International touring production of The Bodyguard. Dates are from Monday 15th December – Monday 5th January in Munich, Germany.
Job Description
The Chaperone ensures that the children in his or her care are properly supervised at all times with regard to their safety and well being.
Duties and Responsibilities
- To ensure that no child is ever left unattended at any time. This includes sleeping in the hotel as required.
- To advise of illness of any child.
- To hold a current Chaperone/Matron’s licence and CRB/DBS enhanced disclosure.
- To ensure that children receive adequate breaks during rehearsals and performances.
- To accompany the child / children to and from the venue from their home and/or hotel as required whilst touring.
- To ensure (in conjunction with the Children’s Administrator) that the Children and Young Persons Act (Performance Regulations) 1968 is followed.
- To keep up to date and accurate records of the children’s working hours.
- Attend rehearsals, calls and performances as required.
- Adhere to the Health and Safety guidelines of the Company.
- Any other duties as may be reasonably required in the course of your duties or as instructed by the Producers from time to time.
