Job Description
The CEO is accountable for creating and managing the programming, budgets, fundraising, marketing, partnerships, and people. We are looking for a leader who is passionate about attracting audiences to opera, entrepreneurial, collegial and creative who can work with the small core-team, founders and artists to stage innovative productions that suit the spaces at Waterperry. They will develop the company, its funding and financial stability, and build our repertoire and audiences into the future.
Job Requirements
STRATEGIC PLANNING & OPERATIONAL DELIVERY
The CEO leads and manages the charity’s operations in the delivery of the strategic plans. Management experience implementing and monitoring delivery of the plans, experience in festival programming design
and delivery, operational executive management of the company, working with trustees to develop strategic plans.
FUNDRAISING AND FINANCE
The CEO is responsible for fundraising for the Festival, business and financial planning and financial management at a senior and strategic level. We need someone who has experience of preparing, presenting, monitoring and controlling budgets, developing and delivering a fundraising plan, good networking skills and a track record of recruiting and developing supporters to maximise the revenue potential of an artistic programme. We are also looking for experience in creating proposals and business
plans for commercial touring and partnership opportunities.
