Carpenters & Steel Fabricators – Theatre Set/Scenery Makers

At TR2, we create scenery that tours the UK and beyond. From large-scale stage builds to bespoke art and exhibition structures, every project is unique. Our construction team works mainly with wood and metal, but we also use all sorts of materials to bring designs to life – and our scenic artists give every build a stunning finish.

You don’t need to know everything on day one. If you’re practical, curious, enjoy learning new skills, and like solving problems, you’ll fit right in. No two builds are the same – it’s a job full of variety, creativity, and teamwork.

Creativity and collaboration are at the heart of what we do. You’ll work alongside makers, scenic artists, managers and designers – sharing ideas, solving problems together, and bringing bold artistic visions to life.

Our pay system has four grades based on skills and experience, and we support everyone to train and progress. Whether you’re just starting out or have experience already, we’d love to hear from you.

Working hours – 8:30am-5:00pm. Some flexibility and overtime will be needed.
