We are looking for a new voluntary Board Member with financial experience to join the range of skills and expertise already within the board.

Job Description

Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival has been running for 20 years. Through a combination of vision and energy from the Board, the skills of the team and unwavering support from funders, the Festival has grown into one of the go-to festivals for new cinema and artists’ moving image in Europe, with ever increasing numbers of contributors and visitors from the UK and around the world.

We are looking for a new voluntary Board Member with financial experience to join the range of skills and expertise https://bfmaf.org/about-us/board/ – already within the board.

Joining the Board of Trustees is a voluntary commitment. You will act collectively with other Board Members to guide the decisions and administration of the Festival.

Job Requirements

ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE:

  • Accounting background and good knowledge of company / charity accounts.

ADDITIONAL POINTS:

  • We seek a broad representation of society at board level.
  • Applications from those based in Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland are particularly encouraged.
  • You don’t need to have had board experience before.
