Bar Manager

Duties

• Supervise and manage bar staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service.
• Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
• Maintain inventory levels of beverages and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
• Work with the Head of Catering on menu planning
• Train new staff on bar operations, service techniques, and health regulations.
• Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and leadership.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly to enhance the guest experience.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
• Implement strategies for increasing sales while maintaining quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven supervisory experience in a bar or restaurant setting is essential.
• Experience of working in a live music venue an advantage.
• Experience in team management with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
• Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
