Job Summary
Job Description
This role will involve working across multiple projects within our programme, collaborating closely with our internal team, commissioned artists, and local communities to help bring each project’s ideas and values to life visually.
The role suits someone who enjoys generating fresh, imaginative ideas; is confident delivering polished outputs; and can prepare high-quality, print-ready files. Attention to detail is important, as all outputs must align with established brand guidelines while still feeling dynamic and project-specific.
In practice, the role will involve designing campaign assets for print, such as concept design, document templates, and printed publications; interpreting creative briefs and turning concepts into strong visual executions; and managing multiple design projects to deadline. You may occasionally be asked to liaise with print suppliers with guidance from the LeftCoast team, and you will be encouraged to contribute ideas during campaign brainstorming sessions, presenting different creative approaches where appropriate. Maintaining visual consistency across campaigns, understanding visual hierarchy and layout, knowing how to connect with different audiences, and staying up to date with current design trends and tools are all key aspects of the role. A strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is essential.
Collaboration is central to how we work. You will be expected to work closely with the LeftCoast team, as well as with artists and community members, responding openly to feedback and contributing positively to shared creative processes. The role can largely be carried out remotely, though there may be occasions where site visits are required in order to better understand projects and to collaborate in person.
