Associate Choreographer – Circus & Cabaret Productions

We are seeking an experienced and imaginative choreographer to join the creative team for an upcoming circus productions.

This projects blend dance, physical theatre, and contemporary circus, performed in the round. We’re looking for someone who can create cinematic, athletic, and visually striking choreography that reflects the energy and movement vocabulary found in current music videos and live performance.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of how movement functions in 360 immersive environments, and the ability to work fluidly with a diverse ensemble of dancers, non-dancers, acrobats, and circus performers.

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience choreographing for live, physical, or circus-based performance.
• Ability to create bold, physical, and contemporary movement adaptable to various performer skillsets.
• Strong track record of delivering high-quality work under time pressure.
• Excellent collaborative skills, able to work as part of a creative team and respond to direction from the Artistic Director.
• Understanding of spatial dynamics and audience perspective in the round.
