ABOUT LITTLE ANGEL THEATRE Little Angel Theatre, awarded Fringe Theatre of the Year 2024 by The Stage, is seeking an Assistant Workshop Facilitator to support its Creative Learning team. Since opening in 1961, Little Angel Theatre has been dedicated to creating inspiring puppetry and storytelling experiences for young audiences. Rooted in Islington, the theatre works closely with its diverse local community to make arts engagement accessible and inclusive for all. THE ROLE The Assistant Workshop Facilitator will support the development and delivery of participatory workshops, including puppetry, drama, and arts activities for children and families. Working alongside skilled facilitators, the role involves assisting with planning, preparation, participant engagement, and evaluation to ensure workshops are welcoming, creative, and well organised. Rate of pay: 200 hours at £14.80 (London Living Wage)

PERSON SPECIFICATION Living in Islington for this role due to funding restrictions Experience of working in a community arts or child/family-centred environment with children High levels of enthusiasm, ideas, and energy A flexible and proactive approach Ability to learn quickly and use initiative Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Desirable: Experience of delivering workshops for children and young people DBS: This role involves regular direct contact with children and requires a DBS check, which Little Angel Theatre can facilitate and which is a condition of appointment
