James Steel Productions is looking for an experienced Assistant Musical Director to come on board for the workshop of an exciting new musical.
Fee:
£1500
Hours: 10 – 6 6-day working week (Monday to Saturday)
Dates are as follow:
Rehearsals 2nd to 12th of March.
Industry Presentation 13th March.
We are seeking a skilled, adaptable and enthusiastic Assistant Musical Director to support the Musical Director across the workshop period, and to play a key role in the musical realisation of this new work.
Job Requirements
Core Responsibilities

Assist in music rehearsals and production rehearsals

Act as rehearsal pianist
-
Support singers with learning music and harmonies

Prepare and maintain musical materials as required

Deputise for the Musical Director when necessary
Skills Required

Strong piano skills and excellent sight-reading ability

Experience working on musical theatre productions

A collaborative and flexible approach

Confidence working with performers and creative teams

Availability for the full workshop period
