You will have proven experience in all key areas of the specialism, including proven skills in sound mixing to a high standard along with a good all round knowledge of digital mixing consoles, audio networking and video playback systems, to assist in the preparation and support of performances and events. You will need to be able to work independently and as part of a team in order to participate in the upkeep and maintenance of multiple performance spaces as well as deputising for the head of Sound & Video.
The role will work closely with the Head of Sound & Video and other key technical team members to ensure Curve’s programming of Visiting and Made at Curve productions are facilitated to the highest standard. You will be given responsibility for specific areas of the specialism matching your experience alongside independently managing projects as agreed.
This role would suit any individual with proven experience and advanced knowledge in Sound who would like to take a step towards managing and supporting a skilled team of Technicians. You will be given space and support to develop these skills whilst still engaging in the hands-on practical day to day requirements of a Sound & Video Department. The role is primarily based at Curve Theatre Leicester, however from time to time you may be asked to support Made at Curve work out on Tour.
