Attic Theatre Company

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic, engaging & reliable Assistant Facilitator to support the delivery of Attic Youth Theatre. The role will assist in the delivery of the newly established Attic Youth Theatre, working closely with the Associate Director, Creative Engagement Producer & Attic team

Job Description

Attic Youth Theatre is our exciting new youth programme designed to address a stark lack of local opportunities by providing a safe, inclusive and creative space for young people aged 13-18 in North Mitcham – an area of high deprivation and low cultural engagement.

The project will build essential social, community and career-focused skills, developing confidence, resilience, and employability. Through collaborative creation, young people from diverse backgrounds will come together to develop not just their theatre craft, skills and knowledge but their sense of identity, place and voice as a young adult.

The project culminates in an end-of-year show which places their voice at the centre of a dynamic, bold original performance; alongside this, they attend a professional theatre production every term.

By feeding in participants from our existing youth projects, such as Many Voices and our Leap holiday workshops, this programme creates a cohesive legacy provision for young people in our area.

Attic Youth Theatre sessions will take place weekly during term time on Monday evenings from 7PM – 9PM.
