Job Description
We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Chorus Manager to provide effective support to the Chorus Manager and Opera Company office, deputising in the Chorus Manager`s absence across a range of work, including administrative support for chorus members, extra chorus, actors and dancers, and ensuring the smooth running of all day-to-day Chorus activities.
Job Requirements
This role will suit a dynamic professional with strong administration experience who can be flexible, build rapport with people and bring a consistently high level of professionalism and responsiveness.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Understanding of the operational aspects and experience of supporting the work of a professional performing company, including singers, actors, dancers or an orchestral/theatrical ensemble.
- Experience of running auditions for professional engagements.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with a systematic approach, ideally within a professional arts organization, with the capacity to manage and prioritise a busy workload.
- A patient team player with the ability to use initiative and deal with people at all levels in a calm, confident and professional manner.
- Strong oral and written English language skills with accuracy and attention to detail.
