Job Summary

English National Ballet is seeking an Artistic Scheduling Manager to join our team on a maternity cover contract until July 2027. You will work closely with the Artistic Director and the Artistic Manager to manage all matters relating to scheduling and casting.

About the role

English National Ballet is seeking an Artistic Scheduling Manager to join our team on a maternity cover contract until July 2027. You will work closely with the Artistic Director and the Artistic Manager to manage all matters relating to scheduling and casting. You will be responsible for documenting, delivering and distributing the weekly rehearsal schedule, and ensuring that these are coordinated and securely archived.

We’re looking for someone with experience in providing a regular, detailed scheduling service for a large cohort of people, and the ability to work effectively towards deadlines in a busy and pressured environment. If that sounds like you, we’d be delighted to hear from you.

This position is for a fixed-term contract, starting October 2026 until July 2027.

Job Requirements

– Some experience of providing a detailed daily or weekly scheduling service or similar complex administrative service for a large cohort of people.
– Ability to focus and work productively in a busy and pressured environment, able to work methodically to achieve deadlines.
– Proven ability to get up to speed on priorities, workflows, lead times and dependencies for all scheduling activities.
– Ability to absorb new information or changed priorities and provide accurate updates.
– Ability and commitment to deliver a high standard of work, with strong proofreading, checking and error minimisation abilities.
– Ability to manage positive working relationships, with a strong team and service ethic .
