Hours: 21hrs per week
Salary: £26,000 pro rata
Location: Remote working predominantly but includes regular in-person meetings and contact with the team. Our work is across Rural Somerset, and we require you to be mobile (own transport) and willing to travel.
Somerset Art Works initiates a wide range of projects in a variety of settings, working in partnership with other arts and non-arts organisations, supporting the artists who enrich our lives. We work to increase public engagement, weaving together communities and raising the profile of the vibrant contemporary visual, digital and applied arts scene in Somerset.
The successful applicant will need to be a good communicator and effective fundraiser, with strong coordination skills. The role provides a unique opportunity for someone who is passionate about the arts, working with an Arts Council National Portfolio Organisation in Somerset. We can offer an interesting work environment, with opportunities to gain a wide and varied range of experience.
Job Requirements
- This is a part time position and requires someone with excellent communication and IT skills who is aware of the flexible requirements of working within the arts and community sector and who can fit into a small team working remotely across Somerset.
- Working can at times be very busy so we require someone who enjoys working under pressure and is passionate about the Arts.
