No Jobs in the Arts CIC is seeking 3 advisory board members to reinforce and expand our support for early-career creatives, ensuring the long-term sustainability of our organisation and the vitality of our community initiatives.

Job Description

No Jobs in the Arts CIC are forming an advisory board to reinforce and expand our support for early-career creatives, ensuring the long-term sustainability of our organisation and the vitality of our community initiatives. With a strong commitment to fostering emerging talent, we have proudly supported over 200 early-career creatives, investing more than £20,000 into the region’s creative sector (2024 data).

What will the Advisory Board look like?
No Jobs in the Arts CIC are looking to recruit three individuals as voluntary members of our developing Advisory Board. We are looking to recruit two individuals with demonstrable industry experience, and one early-career creative looking to gain experience of sitting on a board.

As a not-for-profit arts organisation, we are currently led by voluntary directors Charlie Collins and Ryan Boultbee, supported by freelance practitioners on a project-by-project basis. This new advisory group will play a vital role in shaping our future direction, providing guidance and expertise to strengthen our mission.

We would particularly like to hear from people with/looking to gain expertise in:

  • Fundraising and finance for not-for-profit
  • Partnership development
  • Organisational strategy

Job Requirements

Advisory board members will advise No Jobs in the Arts directors, and support the organisation in its mission to become financially sustainable, through developing and diversifying the companies income streams.

Advisory board members act as advisors and advocates and will demonstrate an interest in and enthusiasm for developing the role of No Jobs in the Arts CIC in the sector, supporting it to strive for excellence

Advisory board members must be over 18 years of age.
