Job Description
We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Administrator to provide dedicated support for the Scoring Warnings project, an AHRC-funded initiative within the School of Arts & Humanities. This is a part-time position (0.1 FTE) offered on a fixed-term contract until 31 August 2028.
The Role
The Administrator will provide high-quality administrative and organisational support to the Principal Investigator and project team, ensuring the smooth running and delivery of Scoring Warnings. The role will involve:

Coordinating project activities, events, meetings and communications.

Supporting reporting requirements, including data collation, financial monitoring and database management.

Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including Communications, Registry, Finance and external partners.

Maintaining accurate records, filing systems and project information across platforms such as PURE, Zotero and GIS databases.

Providing clerking and minute-taking for project management meetings.

Managing travel bookings, purchase orders, expenses and casual worker/guest lecturer payments via RCA systems (Agresso, iTrent).

Assisting with the project’s online and external presence, including website and intranet updates, and supporting outreach and engagement activities.

Job Requirements
Person Specification
Essential:

Educated to degree level (or equivalent).

Proven administrative experience in a busy, customer-focused environment.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload.

Excellent accuracy, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

High level of digital literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google for Work (email, calendar, spreadsheets, databases).

Experience of maintaining databases and an understanding of information security and data protection principles.

Experience using financial management software such as Agresso.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
-
Ability to use initiative, work collaboratively and maintain high customer service standards.
