In 2026, Alfresco Actors will be touring three shows performed by two troupes. In your application you can choose to apply for both troupes or pick one troupe.
Troupe One: Will be a group of four actors performing ‘Around the World in 80 Days’ by Jules Verne, and ‘Kaspar: Prince of Cats’ by Michael Morpurgo. These shows will be performed in rep.
Troupe Two: Will be a group of four actors performing Jeeves and Wooster in ‘Stiff Upper Lip, Jeeves’ by P. G. Wodehouse.
Job Requirements
We are looking for performers of any gender and ethnicity to become a part of our troupes this summer. We would like to see actors who are strong musicians and excited by the unique nature of open-air theatre.
Rehearsal and performance dates are as follows. The precise dates of our scheduled rehearsal period and performance period may at this stage, be subject to minor alterations.
Troupe One: Rehearsals from 8th June – 3rd July. Performances from 4th July – 30th August.
Troupe Two: Rehearsals from 22nd June – 8th July. Performances from 9th July – 6th September.
