Job Description
The International Council and Patrons Administrator plays a key role in supporting the delivery of two of Tate’s important individual giving programmes. Working across the International Council and Patrons teams, you will help ensure excellent supporter care and the smooth day to day administration of both schemes. Comfortable working with data, correspondence and numbers, you will be confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office and able to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
Your proactive and collaborative approach will enable you to work effectively across teams, use your initiative and provide a consistently high standard of support to Tate’s supporters.
The Tate Development office was founded in 1990 to raise funds from the private sector for revenue and capital projects at Tate. It has expanded over the years to meet growing gallery needs and is now one of the most successful arts fundraising teams in the UK. The majority of personnel are based in London, with staff in St Ives and Liverpool, and an affiliated US charity, the Tate Americas Foundation, based in New York.
The Individual Giving & Collection Development team is responsible for fundraising from Tate’s International Council, Patrons and Collection Committees as well as for the management of projects centred around acquisitions for Tate’s collection.
