Job Summary

Nonsuch Studios are looking for two theatre directors to lead outdoor community-theatre projects in Nottingham.

Job Description

STAGE THE CITY is one of Nonsuch Studios biggest and most ambitious projects ever, working with communities across Nottingham to bring our city to life and tell its stories through engaging outdoor theatre and performance.

At the heart of the programme, we’re working with 9 community groups, across three key neighbourhoods: Sneinton, The Meadows & Bulwell, to create celebratory performances about these places in early Spring 2027.

To make this happen, we’re looking to recruit 2, freelance Associate Directors to work with groups and bring these performances to life. Each Director will deliver 3, 2-hour sessions per week.
