Job Description
To coordinate the successful delivery of Benslow Music’s courses and concerts programmes.
To support the development of Benslow Music’s courses and concerts programmes.
To maintain excellent relationships with tutors and artists.
To ensure participants and audiences have a superb experience, providing excellent customer service as required.
To ensure good information flow between departments regarding the courses and concerts programmes
Job Requirements
Professional experience in music or cultural organisation, e.g. for a venue, festival, ensemble or education institution.
Knowledge of music (particularly in any of classical, jazz or folk genres) to degree level or equivalent experience, including ability to read sheet music notation.
Strong administrative, time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage and delivery multiple work streams and deadlines successfully.
Excellent people skills, creating good working relationships across the organisation and with freelance artists and suppliers.
Understanding and appreciation of Benslow Music’s mission and values.
Understanding of and demonstrable commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.
Understanding of music education.
