Production Coordinator (Part-Time)

The Production Coordinator provides day to day efficient, timely and accurate administrative support, undertaking varied duties to support a busy team across all technical elements of the Young Vic’s programme. We are looking for someone with strong organisational skills, with a positive approach to problem solving and a passion for theatre. The role will be working with a range of people of all levels, schedules and practises.

The Production Department

The Production Department creates and runs all the technical elements of the Young Vic’s programmes. This includes our productions, projects and events, in the main house, studios, digital ‘stages’, and across the creative engagement and talent development departments. The Production Department builds strong relationships with freelancers, technicians, scenic workshops and creative teams. The Production Department strives to deliver their creative vision within the agreed timescales and budgets, to the highest possible standards.

CONTRACT: Permanent, Part-Time

HOURS: 28 hours (FTE 35 hours) 4 days a week, 10am – 6pm Monday to Thursday (open to considering 3 days a week if preferred). Occasional evening and weekend work will be required.

SALARY: Circa £24,800 – £26,400 (FTE £31,000 – £33,000) depending on experience
