Job Description
This project is an evolution of our successful Faces of Fulham programme, an intergenerational Film and Photography project that inspired young people throughout the borough to create innovative and thoughtful creative work.We are looking to meet workshop facilitators to help deliver part of this exciting programme. We are looking for engaging leaders, who have excellent facilitation skills and a strong grasp of film-making and content creation, helping guide the students to create something they will be proud of.
Sessions will be 2.15 hours – 30 mins to prep 1.5 hour delivery and 15 minute drop off at SEACC. The progrmam
Sessions will be delivered during school times. Dates are to be negotiated with schools but there may be space to be flexible around the right candidate.
The scheme of work and resources will be developed by the Programme manager, however the facilitator will be responsible for making it suit their delivery style.
The fee is £120 per session. Delivery will be weekly from September 2027 – July 2028.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will be:
– Great with children and young people
– Have experience of practical film production and content creation
– A strong understanding of digital cameras
– Excellent creative problem solving skills
– Able to deliver practical and fun film and media activities, that engage young people, with an ability to differentiate to reach those who may have barriers to access.
– Able to demonstrate a passion and active interest in film and media
– A team player, who leads with confidence and care.
Desirable but not essential:
– Safeguarding training
– Experience of video editing
– Local to Hammersmith & Fulham
Candidates should demonstrate a passion for film, creativity, confidence, intuition, good communication skills, team working skills and an aptitude for technical operation.
As this is a self-employment role, candidates will be responsible for their own NI and tax obligations. Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS disclosure.
