Job Description
An exciting opportunity to work closely with an established contemporary artist in a hands-on, practical support role. This role is ideal for someone with meticulous attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to assist with both creative and physical studio tasks.
Job Requirements
Essential:
– A valid UK driving license and access to own vehicle
– A keen eye for precision and detail, especially for meticulous hands-on tasks
– Physically capable of lifting, moving, and handling heavy artwork and materials
– Experience in handling and packaging artworks or working in an artist’s studio
– Practical skills/experience of working with hands
– Highly organised
– Uses initiative, is a self starter
– Knowledge, awareness, understanding of supporting someone with chronic illness
– Local to Hastings and St. Leonards-on-sea area
Desirable Skills & Experience:
– Basic photography and editing skills (or willingness to learn)
– Basic proficiency of Photoshop
– Previous experience of working in working and/or understanding of the arts
– Ability to holding space during meetings for the Artist
