Job Description
As part of the B:Music Box Office team, you will deliver an outstanding ticketing and customer service experience across our venues, supporting customers in person, by email and over the phone. Using our ticketing and call centre systems, you will process ticket sales, memberships, exchanges, upgrades and refunds while ensuring all customer enquiries are handled professionally, accurately and efficiently.
You will proactively promote B:Music Memberships and other relevant products, maintain accurate customer records, support accessible parking arrangements and assist with ticket fulfilment, including postal ticket processing when required. You’ll also work closely with colleagues to support school, group and corporate bookings, helping customers meet reservation and payment deadlines and ensuring excellent service throughout their booking journey.
As a senior member of the Box Office operation, you will act as a key point of contact for customer escalations, provide guidance to Ticket Sales Assistants and support the Ticketing Manager with a range of operational and administrative tasks. This includes managing aspects of the access scheme, following up customer communications, resolving open transactions and maintaining high standards of service delivery.
You will also take on the role of Box Office Duty Manager for allocated events, overseeing box office operations from pre-show preparation through to event completion. Working closely with Event and Front of House teams, you will conduct house checks, manage guest lists and ticket allocations, support promoter representatives, handle customer issues on the night and ensure all reporting is completed accurately and on time.

Job Requirements
We’re looking for a customer-focused individual with experience using a ticketing system, ideally Spektrix, and a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service. You will have good communication skills and able to build positive relationships with customers, colleagues, event organisers and promoters. Experience working in a concert hall, theatre or similar cultural environment is highly desirable, and previous event box office supervisory experience would be an advantage.
You will be organised, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities while remaining calm under pressure. Strong numeracy, literacy and IT skills are essential, along with excellent time management and a proactive, flexible approach to work.
