Job Description
Join The Magical Christmas Adventure as a Theatre & Events Technician. Support the technical delivery of our immersive Christmas production across lighting, sound, AV and show systems, alongside floor control and CCTV monitoring. You’ll troubleshoot live issues, maintain equipment and work closely with Stage Management to keep every performance safe, seamless and on schedule.

Job Requirements
Previous experience in theatre, live events, attractions, entertainment or technical production.
Practical knowledge of lighting, sound, AV and show control systems.
Experience operating and troubleshooting technical equipment during live performances.
Comfortable supporting floor control and CCTV monitoring during live operations.
Ability to identify technical faults quickly and respond calmly under pressure.
Good understanding of Health & Safety within live events or entertainment environments.
Confident working alongside Stage Management, performers and operational teams.
Strong communication skills, particularly when reporting live technical or operational issues.
Comfortable using computers, digital control systems and technical software.
Able to complete basic equipment checks, maintenance and fault reporting.
Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work across multiple performance spaces.
Willing to work evenings, weekends and peak Christmas dates throughout the event season
Job Responsibilities
Operate and monitor lighting, sound, AV and show control systems throughout live performances.
Provide floor control, monitoring show areas, guest flow and live operational activity.
Monitor CCTV systems and promptly communicate safety, security or operational concerns.
Complete daily pre-show technical checks and ensure equipment is performance-ready.
Troubleshoot technical faults and respond quickly to issues during live shows.
Support the setup, testing, operation and shutdown of technical equipment.
Work closely with Stage Management, Cast and Operations to maintain show timings and smooth transitions.
