Creative Writing Online Facilitator

We’re looking for a passionate, imaginative facilitator to help us launch an exciting new creative writing project. This is not a traditional classroom environment. We’re creating playful, inspiring online spaces where people can write spontaneously, explore ideas, and discover stories.

Working online you’ll facilitate energetic workshops built around creative prompts created in collaboration with photographers, digital artists, and designers.

We welcome applications from anywhere, but we are particularly interested in hearing from Bristol-based facilitators.

This is a pilot project, so we’re embracing experimentation, curiosity, and possibility. We don’t yet know exactly where this journey will lead – and that’s part of what makes it exciting.

About the Workshops
Our workshops will focus on:
– Flash fiction and short-form storytelling
– Writing sprints and free writing
– Spontaneous, intuitive creativity
– Imagination, play, and exploration
– Creating welcoming, energising online spaces
– Encouraging participants to take creative risks

We’re Looking for Someone Who:
– Loves stories and the power of imagination
– Feels confident and comfortable facilitating online
– Can create warm, welcoming, high-energy environments
– Enjoys encouraging people who may be nervous about writing
– Believes creativity should feel possible, exciting, and accessible
– Is enthusiastic, positive, and collaborative
– Is happy working within an evolving pilot project
– Brings ideas, curiosity, and a sense of adventure

You Don’t Need To:
– Teach formal creative writing
– Focus on long-form projects or novels
– Deliver traditional classroom-based learning
– Have all the answers

We Will Provide:
– Creative prompts and inspirational materials
– Workshop outlines and lesson plans where needed
– Ongoing support from the core team
– The opportunity to help shape an exciting new project from the begin
