Job Summary
Job Description
The Project Coordinator will lead a new project funded by Inner Circle Education Trust (ICET). The programme is a three-year partnership that uses Shakespeare and the performing arts to support care-experienced young people to develop the confidence, skills and aspirations to progress into higher education and beyond.
Working with universities, theatres, Virtual Schools (VS) and specialist partners, the programme creates high-quality creative experiences that open new opportunities and pathways for care-experienced young people. Alongside supporting delivery of the programme, the Project Coordinator will help shape and grow CSSF’s wider Virtual Schools offer, using insights from the project to strengthen and expand the organisation’s work under the Opportunity Unlocked pillar of its 2030 Strategy.
Based at Coram Campus (Bloomsbury, Central London), with opportunities for hybrid working following induction and subject to business needs. Some travel within the UK will be required.
This is a part time role, 0.6 FTE 21 hours per week, flexible (core hours 10am-4pm)
Job Requirements
Coram Shakespeare Schools Foundation is excited to meet candidates from a range of backgrounds and experiences – there are no specific qualification requirements for this role. We are looking for an organised, collaborative and solutions-focused Project Coordinator who is passionate about the power of the arts to transform the lives of young people. You will be equally comfortable building relationships, coordinating high-quality programme delivery and supporting the development of new opportunities and partnerships. The successful candidate will be able to quickly understand existing programmes and systems, work confidently across multiple priorities, and bring a positive, proactive approach to a busy and supportive team environment. Experience working with schools, cultural organisations or charities would be advantageous, but is not essential.
