Job Summary

The Arts Place provide bespoke Drama clubs, classes and workshops to a select range of London schools. We use Drama to ignite children’s imaginations, build their confidence and help them to find their voice and place in the world.

Job Description

We provide specially tailored Drama clubs, classes and workshops to support children’s learning from Early Years through to KS2 and we are looking for a bright and committed Drama teachers to join our schools team and deliver high-quality Drama clubs and classes to our London-based schools in South East and South West London.

At The Arts Place we place the well being of the children in our care at the heart of everything we do. Above all our ideal candidate will be passionate about working with young children and helping them grow their confidence through Drama. A positive and upbeat attitude is a must.

Teachers are provided with Arts Place session plans for all classes and are trained in delivering in The Arts Place style. We run Drama clubs and classes for a range of London schools.

Teaching fee: £50 an hour
Expected working hours: 2 afternoons per week.

Job Requirements

* Previous experience teaching
* Experience working with children in schools or educational settings.
* An enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
* A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of teaching and professionalism.
