National Youth Choir of Scotland (known as NYCOS) is looking to appoint a dynamic and energetic individual to the role of Trusts & Foundations Manager. Working closely with the Chief Executive, Founder & Artistic Director and colleagues across the organisation, this post plays a central role within NYCOS to develop and deliver the Trusts & Foundations fundraising programme.
You will be a persuasive storyteller and collector of data, excited by the opportunity to make an impact on the lives of children and young people. You may already be an experienced fundraiser or someone with transferable skills who is ready to pivot. This role would suit someone with an eye for opportunities and detail, and the desire to build on an exciting and ambitious fundraising programme.
Job Requirements
Exceptional writing and communication skills, with an ability to convey detailed information in a concise and compelling way
Ability to work proactively and constructively with colleagues to develop high quality proposals and creative campaigns
Experience in establishing and stewarding productive relationships with funders or other external stakeholders
Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to prioritise and meet regular deadlines whilst working under pressure
Experience of budget development and management
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of people with our work
Exceptional influencing, negotiation and diplomacy skills
Ability to think and operate strategically and provide flexible solutions
Excellent IT skills including use of CRM
