Fee: £300/£350 per day – approximately 10 days
The role will involve developing the production plan, coordinating technical requirements, managing site logistics and ensuring the event is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high professional standard.
The Production Manager will take a lead role during installation, testing, live delivery and deinstallation, coordinating crew, suppliers, access and schedules across multiple locations.
SDNA will retain responsibility for artistic direction, contracting, budgets and major stakeholder management. The Production Manager will focus primarily on technical planning, health and safety, permissions, site operations and event delivery.
Job Requirements
Essential
Experience managing the production of outdoor events, festivals, public art or large-scale cultural projects.
Strong knowledge of event production, site logistics and health and safety requirements.
Experience coordinating technical suppliers, crews and contractors.
Confidence in preparing production schedules, RAMS and event documentation.
Experience working with temporary power, lighting, sound or projection installations.
Excellent organisational, communication and problem solving skills.
The ability to manage multiple locations, schedules and priorities.
A calm, practical and collaborative approach.
Availability throughout the installation, event and deinstallation period.
Desirable
Experience of light festivals, projection mapping or outdoor digital installations.
Experience working with local authorities and heritage buildings.
Experience with road closures, traffic management or town-centre events.
Relevant health and safety, first aid or event management
