Job Summary

This role reports to the CCO and sits at the centre of the commercial function. It is a broad role supporting across all areas of the CCO’s remit including strategy and planning, commercial decision-making, insight and analysis, and growth and business development.

Job Description

Lead commercial planning, modelling and decision-making across the Underbelly portfolio. Build event and production P&Ls, set commercial targets, and develop financial plans that reflect the key revenue and cost drivers across ticketing, F&B, sponsorship, suppliers and production.

Translate commercial strategy into practical frameworks for Production, Programming, Marketing and Operations, ensuring teams understand the financial impact of creative and operational decisions. Track performance against plan, analyse trading data, and provide clear reporting and insight to support timely decisions.

Drive commercial rigour across pricing, yield, discounts, product mix, packages, concessions, traders, artist terms and creative partnerships. Identify opportunities to improve revenue, profitability and cost control across existing events.

Support growth by assessing new event and venue opportunities, building business models, stress-testing assumptions and contributing commercial cases to tenders, pitches, sponsorship and partnership proposals.
