Bristol Beacon
Job Summary
Job Description
Venue Crew Supervisor, Part Time, 20 Hours, £28,000 (pro-rata) £15,135 per annum
Bristol Beacon is the South West’s largest concert hall, promoting musical excellence, creative learning, and community engagement. Our newly refurbished concert halls and Music Education Centre are central to our mission of uniting people through the joy of live music.
Our in-house crew at Bristol Beacon carry out venue turnarounds throughout the day and night. As Venue Crew Supervisor, you’ll lead a team of Venue Crew to ensure event spaces are reset, tidy, and fully presentable ahead of the next scheduled activity. Our Venue Crew work mainly at night to ensure venue turnarounds in time for events the following day.
You will have experience of supervising, motivating and training teams in venues, events or similar environments. You will be able to manage and organise work for your team across multiple areas and have a calm, solution-focused approach, with strong attention to detail and the ability to inspire others to achieve good results.
We are looking for applicants who have the ability to work a varied schedule across nights, evenings, days and weekends to facilitate events within our iconic building.
We particularly encourage and support applications from disabled and ethnically diverse backgrounds as these groups are currently underrepresented within the arts and culture sectors.
