Daniel Malarkey is a London-based fine art advisor and dealer with a programme spanning modern and contemporary works. Operating from 48–49 Russell Square, the business handles a continual volume of acquisitions, consignments, loans, and exhibitions.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Registrar & Operations Manager to take ownership of the business’s registrarial and logistics functions. This is a hands-on, detail-intensive role: 14 to 20 hours per week structured as two in-person days at Russell Square (Tuesday, 5 hours; Thursday, 5 hours) with the remaining hours worked remotely. The role covers the full lifecycle of works in our care, from acquisition and loan through to sale, shipment and archive, with particular emphasis on international shipping and project management.

Job Requirements

5-10 years’ experience as a gallery registrar, or in an equivalent role at an auction house, museum, or specialist fine art logistics company

Exceptional attention to detail and highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines independently

Strong written and verbal communication skills; professional in dealings with artists, estates, collectors, and handlers

14 to 20 hours per week: Tuesday in-person (5 hrs), Thursday in-person (5 hrs), other hours executed remotely
