Job Description

The General Manager will be responsible for the whole operational running of the venue. This includes leading the team on a day-to-day basis in all operational areas, to deliver an exceptional guest experience, grow admissions and F&B spend, maximise profitability, whilst ensuring health and safety and food safety standards are kept high at all times whilst meeting the legal requirements.

This job is a salary starting at £40k depending on experience.

Job Requirements

Proven experience successfully managing teams and delivering exceptional guest experiences within the cinema, hospitality, cultural venue or live entertainment sectors.
Have a pro-active, can-do attitude in delivering the best guest experience by maintaining high standards, taking professional pride in how you, the team and the venue looks.
Proven experience of successfully leading and motivating a team to meet business targets.
Experience of developing employees and managers through training, coaching and mentoring.
A strong and effective communicator.
Technology literate and financially aware with a successful track record of managing profit and loss accounts.
Passionate about delivering a premium quality guest experience.
A professional demeanour, dedicated work ethic, self-motivated and shows initiative with a focus on attention-to-detail.
A genuine and demonstrable interest in film, cinema, cultural experiences, live events and a passion and excitement for Curzon
