Job Summary
Job Description
This is a fantastic opportunity to build your HR career, gaining hands-on experience across the full employee lifecycle in a collaborative and supportive environment. You will play a key role in delivering a high-quality HR administrative service, supporting recruitment, onboarding, HR systems, payroll administration, and day-to-day people operations.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will support the full recruitment and employee life-cycle process, including posting job adverts, coordinating interviews, managing applications through the HR system, and carrying out pre-employment checks. You will maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS, update HR policies and documentation, and ensure all data is handled in line with GDPR requirements.
You will also provide administrative support for casual workers and independent contractors by preparing and issuing documentation, maintaining compliance records, and supporting safeguarding requirements. In addition, you will assist with payroll processes by coordinating timesheets, processing payroll data, and responding to related queries.
More broadly, you will act as a point of contact for People queries, manage shared inboxes and communications, support People projects, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the department processes.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. You will be a strong communicator with a professional and approachable manner, comfortable handling confidential information with discretion. You will also have good IT skills and an interest in developing a career in HR, with experience using HR systems or databases being an advantage.
We encourage and welcome applications from people with a disability, people from minority ethnic backgrounds, and people from the LGBTQIA+ community.
Please let us know if you have any access needs for the interview.
No agencies please.
Job Requirements
Due to the nature of the RAD’s work, the successful candidate will be required to have an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service. Applications which do not include a full employment history, and reference details will not be taken forward to the shortlisting stage.
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and bring relevant documents if invited to attend an interview. We are unable to sponsor people under the Skilled Worker scheme.
