Job Summary
We’re looking for an experienced theatre designer to work with the rest of the Shoddy creative team to create the physical/visual world for A Shoddy Nativity, a three-person, multi-role, multi-locational, chaotic, comedic retelling of the original Christmas story.
Job Description
You’ll be able to demonstrate a body of relevant professional experience, ideally including designing for highly theatrical, multi-role shows in intimate spaces. You’ll be excited by the challenge of creating the school-nativity-gone-wrong world of this show and undaunted by working on a tight budget.

Design Process – start as soon as possible
White Card Model – 31 Jul
Final Model & Drawings – 12 Sept
Build Visits – TBC Oct/Nov
Production Week – 30 Nov – 6 Dec
Fee:
£3,500 & agreed expenses for an estimated 150 hours of work
