Job Description
We are looking for a capable and motivated person to join our team as People and Office Manager at the new Quentin Blake Centre for Illustration.
The People and Office Manager will provide crucial support for our team of staff and volunteers. They will manage fair and inclusive recruitment, induction, training, rota and exit processes, supporting people to thrive during their employment with us. They will provide administration and minutes for the Board of Trustees. They will ensure that the office environment and systems support effective and accessible working practices.
The successful candidate will be a highly-capable, organised and proactive administrator, with a deep commitment to equity, representation and inclusion.

Job Requirements
Essential skills, experience and qualities
To be considered for this job, you must be able to demonstrate:
Exceptional organisation and administration skills
Demonstrable understanding of effective and inclusive people management
Knowledge and capability in relation to office IT systems
Discretion, good judgement and effective communication
Commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion
We would also be interested to know if you can bring any of the following to the role (please note these are not essential to being considered):
HR qualifications or experience in an HR role
Experience in office IT management
Strong understanding of GDPR
Experience of working within a museum or gallery
Interest in illustration
