Come and join our retail team at the Southbank Centre, where we’re dedicated to crafting inviting spaces and fostering memorable experiences together. With three bustling shops situated across our site-in the Hayward Gallery, Mandela Walk, and the newly refurbished space in the Royal Festival Hall-you’ll play a vital role as a Retail Assistant. Your contributions will uphold our welcoming atmosphere and contribute to our culture of teamwork and innovation.
We are hiring for several roles on a continuous two-week rota that follows an alternate weekend pattern (Week 1: Wed-Fri; Week 2: Tue, Sat, Sun). Shifts currently fall between 11 am and 8 pm, with frequent extra ad hoc hours available during seasonal peaks and on-site events. This is ideal for those seeking a steady routine with the flexibility to work more during our busiest periods.

The annual salary stated is based on the Full-Time Equivalent (40 hours per week). If the job is part-time, the weekly hours will be stated within the advert.

Job Requirements
Previous experience in providing a high level of customer service in direct interactions, ideally within a sales setting.
Ability to identify and leverage sales opportunities to enhance revenue generation.
Clear and effective communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
Strong team player with the capacity to work collaboratively and independently.
Aptitude for exercising initiative and problem-solving skills, particularly in challenging scenarios.
