Customer Service Assistant – (Job ref: OKE001)
Fixed Term Contract until 31st December 2026
Salary: £2,650.95 (£24,521.29 FTE)
Hours: 4 hours per week (working pattern below)
Location: Okehampton Library
Closing date: 9am on Monday 18th May 2026
Interview date: Tuesday 26th May 2026 at Okehampton Library
Working Pattern
Week 1 & 2:
Saturday: 9:00am – 1:00pm (4)
Okehampton Library is looking for a Customer Service Assistant to deliver a friendly, proactive and responsive frontline library service, ensuring the best possible customer experience for all users.
Enjoy an exciting challenge, devising and running fundraising events, activities and community support.
We are looking for someone who has good digital skills, a love of reading and enjoys interacting with people of all ages.
Part of this role will involve delivering children’s activities, you will need to be confident interacting with babies and small children.
We would welcome a new team member who is creative, imaginative, organised and customer focused.
