Job Summary

As Curatorial Admin Assistant, you will provide efficient support to the Curatorial department across Exhibitions and Live Programmes. This is a great role for someone organised and proactive, with an interest in arts administration and exhibitions and events planning.

Hours: 2 days, 14 hours per week which can be worked flexibly with occasional evening and weekend work required

Location: Nottingham Contemporary and homeworking

Term: 1 year fixed term, with the possibility of extension after this period

Job Requirements

Experience in providing high-quality administrative support and aspects of project management and research, e.g. managing correspondence, maintaining accurate records, co-ordinating information and plans.
Strong organisational, administrative and time management skills, with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines.
Ability to deal with situations and information with confidentiality, tact and diplomacy.
Proficient user of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and IT systems including video conferencing systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to build working relationships with people across all levels.
A good collaborator and effective communicator with a range of stakeholders.
Self-motivated and proactive approach to work.
Ability to respond promptly to needs.
A supportive and pro-active team-member.
