Job Summary

We are looking for  a Senior Programming Producer to join the National Theatre’s Digital team. 

Job Description

The Senior Programming Producer works closely with the Head of Programming to deliver the programme for the National’s digital activity, including NT Live, NT at Home, NT Collection and all other digital distribution with a keen focus on external opportunities.
They support the day-to-day administration of the Programming team, advising a team of producers on best practice to ensure strong relationships across the many areas of the National and successful contract negotiation and the timely administration of all projects; contracting co-producers, artists, show staff, stage management and licencing commercial music, images, and any other third-party rights as required.

The successful candidates will have the following:
– Significant demonstrable producing experience in theatre, film or television as a Lead Producer (or equivalent) with responsibility for overseeing and delivering productions
– Significant demonstrable experience in contract negotiations with stakeholders and their representatives with responsibility for both undertaking and supervising negotiations
– Proven experience in line management of multiple direct reports and managing a high performing team with the gravitas to inspire and motivate others
– Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, responding swiftly to emerging issues while managing existing timelines
– Demonstrable experience of leading projects through from inception to completion.
– Proven strategic abilities with excellent attention to detail
